The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a sureshot rager with Foo fighters and Tiesto concerts

The Foo Fighters and Tiesto headlining concerts of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 is one of the most remarkable news of the year for not only music enthusiasts but also sportslovers.

The concerts are being managed by Ethara, a recently established events company formed through the merger of long-standing promoters Flash Entertainment and Abu Dhabi Motorsports management. Tickets to the concert are bundled with Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets and will not be available for separate purchase.

This will be the inaugural performance of the Foo Fighters in Abu Dhabi, after their previously cancelled appearance at the Grand Prix event in 2021. This is the band’s first tour after the unfortunate passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022.

Furthermore, the Grand Prix weekend will feature a performance by Dutch DJ Tiësto, who will take the stage on Thursday, November 23, for the opening night. LA based Ava Max is also going to be performing in the after race concert.

About Foo fighters

Foo fighters, a band developed in 1994 gets its name from a term used by Allied aircraft pilots during World War II to describe unidentified flying objects. Founded by Dave Grohl, a drummer with Nirvana who went independent, the band is the ultimate blend of rock and grunge. Their rocks songs have been anthemic and have resonated with the masses. The band has gained widespread recognition for their popular tracks such as “Best of You,” “My Hero,” and “Times Like These.” The foo fighters have also received multiple grammy awards so far.

Godfather of EDM, Tiësto

Since 2000, Grammy-winning Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto became one of the most recognizable figures of the EDM genre with his legendary extended live sets, prolific output, and a pop-oriented crossover appeal that scored him multiple hit singles. He scored a Billboard number one Top Dance/Electronic Album with 2007’s Elements of Life and cracked the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 in 2014. He received a Grammy in 2015 for his remix of John Legend’s “All of me” “Immersive, Exciting and Iconic” as the slogan officially goes, the hype of Grand Prix 2023 is real.
